Ricky, Vinnie and Sean have always been sure nice and help me and my sister with our car services. I needed to get a rental once while i was having my sisters car fixed and they kindly drove me down the street to the enterprise rent a car. They kept me up to date on the repair and were sure helpful

Exelent service

Lee Rollins is one of a few honest repair facilities left in San Diego. We live in Del Cerro and consider the drive to Mira Mesa well worth it. Shocks, brakes and tires service was excellent at fair pricing. We dealt with Vinnie Gonzalez through the years. He’s very knowledgeably and pleasure to deal with.

The owner and the employees were so good and gave me nice servering also it was great my car was never broken down in 7 years

Friendly staff and a great text-based invoice/approval system. But my initial quote came in at $1,098.62 — including $85.50 in labor EACH for the air filter and cabin filter (5-minute jobs) and a pricier shock option than needed. When I called to question it, they removed both filter labor charges and swapped to a cheaper shock, bringing it down to $668.61. Saved $430 with one phone call. Work itself was solid — just read your invoice closely before approving.

Good honest shop, I always do oil changes here. No issues and much more reliable than the drive through mechanics. Recently got tires and install was smooth.

My coil pack went out Friday afternoon. I was in a terrible bind due to I had to be at comic con to volunteer that early evening and had to get my car repaired. Even though the price was three times what I would have paid at my local mechanic..Firestone looked at my car immediately, special ordered a coil pack and spark plug and had it delivered by a local auto parts store. When it arrived 15 minutes later they put in the necessary parts and I was on my way. They were very helpful and the expedited price wasn't there fault. It was a rush and they did what they had to do to get me going.

I have a great deal of trust in the entire team at Lee Rollins Firestone! They have been my go-to for auto repair for nearly 30 years. They’re efficient, and very communicative. I live nearby, and they often come and get me when my vehicle is ready. I highly recommend LRF!

The splash plate on my Honda was dragging. They were able to get me in right away to have a look. They secured the plate for me at no charge. George gave me an honest assessment of the condition of the plate and had me right back on the road. I've been looking for a regular place to bring my car for service and I think I've found it. Not from SD but took my truck here cause there was a strange sound coming from my brakes. Josh took care of the whole thing fast and quickly, he was kind and explained the situation when he inspected the wheels and fixed everything. They have wonderful customer service and would not hesitate to come here again!

If I could give this Firestone 100 stars I would but I guess I’m limited to 5. I’m a mechanic myself and typically never pay or trust a shop to work on my vehicles but unfortunately due to a bunch of time constraints I have going on at the moment I had no choice but to pay a shop as my Hummer needed some complex repairs on short order. I can tell you in all my years in this space I have never experienced a more dedicated and professional team of people. I feel like the whole shop came together to help me out, and they are honest and straight forward. If they tell you something isn’t right you don’t have to question it, they are telling you the truth. Saying they went above and beyond would be an understatement. I should also mention these are not people I previously knew, this was the first time I met all of them. I just had a friend that referred me to them. Special huge shout out to Sean! Ask for Sean though I’m sure anybody there would do you right. On top of it all, their local knowledge in San Diego is unparalleled. One challenge we came across as they had my fuel tank down for a pump repair is they found the fuel inlet had a small leak, and rather than have to replace the tank for thousands of dollars they had a connection with a local plastics fabricator that was able to restore the tank to better than new for an incredibly reasonable price. I could go on and on. Bottom line, it’s not a shop you need to be skeptical about. This industry is a tough industry, things don’t always go perfect or in a straight line despite expectations but however it goes these guys have your back and will get across the finish line with grace.

Will was excellent! Customer service above and beyond. My truck broke down about a mile away. My first trbl-shoot step get a battery. Plan A, O'Reily's only about a mile away. Walking to O'Reily's now becoming bad idea. Stepped into Lee Rollins, uncertain if the sold batteries without repair included. they do. Will was kind enough to take me in his own vehicle to my truck and even helped me a little troubleshooting. Was nice surprise for me and grateful.

I have been going to Lee Rollins Firestone for a few years. Prices are fair. Most importantly, the customer service members are honest! I don't feel pressured to buy extra parts or services. Safety is a priority. The service is very good! Vinny is great!

Whole team at Lee Rollins was great! Unfortunately had to replace the entire AC system after 206k miles. We had regular communication throughout the whole repair and made sure it was good to go for our camping trip.

Excellent service! We are from Utah and blew a tire while passing by and the whole team rallied around helping us. They even drove to pick up our tire from the warehouse saving us a ton of time on our vacation. I would highly recommend these guys. 5 stars no doubt.

Everyone went above and beyond with car repairs and customer service

Great customer service & very reasonable price for what I needed done to my car. The staff kept me updated on the progress of fixing my car after I dropped it off & really helped educate me on why certain repairs were needed. I highly recommend their services and will definitely be returning for future work.

The manager is super rude to my car and literally try to charge me 250 bucks for only checking my car, he drove my car like a racing car and told me there is a lot issues with my car, I drove it to another shop, that owner told me it is the wheel bearing issue, and charged me 260 bucks to fix it.

I had a nail in my tire this morning and was already stressed because I was going to be late for work. I called ahead to make sure they could take me, and they told me to come in. When I arrived, I was quoted about an hour, which I understood. While I was there, he overheard me mentioning that I had somewhere I needed to be and went out of his way to help get my car taken care of faster. I ended up being in and out in about 20 minutes. The service was quick, professional, and genuinely kind. I really appreciated the extra effort and consideration -- it made a stressful morning so much easier. Highly recommend if you're looking for efficient, friendly service!

I had a difficult to diagnose repair that took a bit longer than expected. The Lee Rollins team was diligent, stayed in communication and helped me out with transportation. At the end they completed the repair and woud not accept additional money for unforeseen repair. I will definitely be using them in the future.

The last time I had a tire issue there, I waited over 3 hours before anyone even looked at my car, only to be told I needed a new tire. This time, I went to Firestone with a nail in my tire. They fixed it for $35 and had me out in under an hour. No upselling, no scare tactics, just straightforward service. Hands down the best $35 I’ve spent. Ask for George!

I came here in 2023 for a flat tire repair, and it has always stood out to me how friendly and helpful the staff were. (Wish I knew their names; one was an older gentleman.) They were kind, and spent significant time and energy searching for my wheel lock key -- which they eventually found, and I left that day with a fixed tire and a mere bill of $25 bucks. Now, two years later, I'm in need of a tire replacement, and Lee Rollins is the first place I thought of to call.
